“ Our Summer Trip to Croatia – A Special Time in Soline During our summer trip to Croatia in JULY 2025, we had the chance to spend some of our best days in the charming village of Soline. One of the highlights of our stay was discovering Restaurant ZUPCICA – a cozy spot with incredibly tasty food and warm, welcoming people. At ZUPCICA, we were served by Dian, who immediately made an impression on us. When I asked him who he was, he smiled and said, “I’m the waiter, the cleaner, the owner – and the father of two boys!” His honesty and humor made us feel right at home. It was also at this restaurant that I tried Croatian PAN beer for the first time – and from that moment on, every time I visited, I ordered PAN. On our last day in Soline, I told Dian we would be leaving the next morning. I also mentioned that on the way back, I planned to buy some PAN beer. To my surprise, and in a truly kind gesture, Dian gifted me a PAN beer as a farewell present. I will never forget Dian, his kindness, or the unforgettable time we had in Soline.
